The Pharmacy Council is a health regulatory authority established under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003.
Our primary role is to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of the public by ensuring pharmacists are competent and fit to practice.
The Pharmacy Council is not a member organisation nor does it regulate pharmacies. For all professional enquiries, please contact the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand.
For enquires about pharmacy ownership and licensing, please contact the Ministry of Health.
